When I installed UT it was fresh everything. Fresh Windows 10, grahpics card drivers, sound drivers, everything. And Uptodated BIOS. (I just got this PC from my bro so i reinstalled everything fresh and linked it to my hotmail account)
I may have copied over one portion of my User.ini. The section I copied over was my keybinds like K=suicide and WADS. I'm pretty sure I copied nothing else over because I had that NEXGEN issue if you remember. As for my UnrealTournament.ini file I left it new and didn't touch it except for modifying it in game via the standard UT Menu to change screen resolution and such. I use D3D9 updated driver for UT.
(I agree with the 25 gigs LoL!)
Can someone with a working TimTim Crosshair pack upload their TimTim.utx file for me? There's a wild chance the server is sending a bad file.
Secondly I'm curious if anyone knows of a 2nd crosshair pack? Or where I can search? I searched around google and didn't find anything. And found nothing on ut-files.com. All I found were different style crosshairs not an aim fix.
For future reference to anyone experiencing similar issue:
I was reading the error I received and here's a screen shot. The line to note is the 5th line down that reads "Engine.Texture 1337TimTim.3x3 NULL". That says to me it's not recognizing the TimTim texture file. So for experiment I installed a separate cross-hair pack from ut-files.com. I was able to install the other pack without an issue. So I thought, "Why not delete line by line each crosshair line causing the error?" So I deleted the crosshair line "CrossHairs[7]=1337TimTim.3x3". But it produced a new error for the next line in the Crosshair list. So I deleted that line. Same problem.
I will update this post with any new pertinent information that arises.
Update: I found the crosshair TimTim was based on here http://unrealtournament.99.free.fr/utfi ... patsui.rar but the crosshair doesn't seem to be any more centered than the standard UT Crosshairs. And the crosshair is fat and ugly.
