Alright. This map is taking way too long, but I'm ever closer to completion finally. Just got finished bot pathing this in case someone wants to play it offline and have the bots work it. Looks pretty good. Still need to add weapons in certain locations then I think it's done. Then I have a number of other maps I can work on for VM. Anyhow, glad this build is coming to a close. :thumbup

That your still interested in making new UT maps really says so much
about how cool of a game UT was and still is.

They should keep the UT99 engine and game play...etc and just modernize the
games graphics. People might get interested enough to check it out.
They'd be reintroducing the game to a whole new generation.

Anyway......I love trying out new maps.......

I agree 3rdOF3. I've been saying the same thing for the longest time. Nobody much plays the latter versions of UT. I don't think EPIC will ever beat the original version of UT, UT99. It has the most mods, mutators and flexibility of all the versions put together. :peace

It is, if I could ever finished it. lol

The other problem I've come into lately with mapping, is that the machine I built all these maps on, doesn't like one of the graphics programs I'm using to resize, enhance or otherwise work with the files (JASC Paint Shop Pro 8, 9 or 10) So I've had to start using my laptop, then transferring the files back and forth. Really annoying. Anyway, looks like CTF-StarWarsOpposingBases will most likely be the first to be completed.

Okay, I was without a computer for several months as mine died in July. So to stave off temptation I've been avoiding temptations... but I got a new computer this past weekend.

That said...

*ahem*

Unfortunately not. The map is on another computer that I haven't run in a while. The other machine is also where I have the latest iteration of my Star Wars maps. I have no idea when this will done, I'm sorry. Right now, my time is at a premium, because of work obligations. :idontknow

I can't lie. The original computer the map was on, decided to die on me. I did manage to save most of what I did, but I recently went looking for the one map that was close to being finished, but couldn't find it. I have other versions of the same map, but not the one I need. I'd know it if I saw it. I still may have it some place. I just have to be more aggressive in my search. I'll let you know. I have so many maps that I haven't finished. I'm guilty of doing that. I'll be glad to shoot you a link to the map(s), once I find them. Then once you have the map, you're free to mod it. I'm not like some of these other mappers out there. You can't learn if you can't dissect someone else's map.
