CTF-(V)CavernInfinity
Here's a map i made for RX. I think all the files are in, check it out !
The map has an 8 form if you take a look at it from the above, but an 8 with a 45° angle. That's why there is "Infinity" in the name. The ideal amount of players is 12, and the minimum requested to enjoy it might be 6. I've built the map with a few decorations to give it a more realistic look without putting to much into it, i want it to run on slow configs.
You can find these weapons: Sniper Rifle, Rocket Launcher, InstaGib, Flak Cannon and of course, RX. There isn't any place to hide when you've got the flag so you can't really camp with it.
I didn't want the map to be a spawnkilling festival, so under each playerstart, there's an RX. This way, players respawn with an RX everytime, which reduce the possibility of intense spawnkilling. But, the spawnroom isn't really close to the flag room, so when you die, by the time you got back to your base, your flag can be taken easily. There isn't a lot of RX in the flag room too, so you have to take care of the one you get from the respawn.
You can try to take the flags by the 2 only corridors the map has to offer for each base. Either you take the front-to-front one that is kinda dangerous because you are surexposed to rockets, or you can take the one that go through the enemy respawn room, that is longer and requests a few more skills for the 90° turns.
See for yourself, tell me if it can be added to the server, i didn't see any bugs when i tried it, so i think it's good to go !

I didn't put any path for the bots in it, it's not meant to be played in solo, too big and the bots can't drive RX. But i could always make a smaller, more realistic version of the map for normal weapons, and i could add bot path.evilgrins wrote:How's the bot-pathing?

I tried it with a lot of people and it was cool! I'm happy with what i've created, people seemed to enjoy it, score was tough, 10-9, and some people were actually trying different techniques to take the flag as i wanted.=(V)=RocketJedi wrote:its live on the server
