How can I find out what my ping is?
the f1 buttong fails to show my ping.

when i did this, it minimalized UT, and showed that kind of "help" display shit.

HUD is short for Heads Up Display which shows your status, weapons, etc. Use F9 while in the game to take a screenshot. You'll find the screenshot in your UT system directory here: C:\UnrealTournament\System\ and the file will have a .BMP extension. By the way, if you are using wireless to play, I would instead, plug directly into one of your router's LAN ports with a network patch cable, as this will provide a much better connection while playing and you won't get dropped by wireless lag or inconsistencies.

the probem is, that cable is about 6 meters away, too long for a cable.

just go get yourself a USB cable to the length ya need it
they are pretty cheap

I have a 50 foot cable strung up all nicely tacked to the floorboards and around the door frames to get my connection in my room

so 6 meters is not to hard to accomplish :)
just ask your parents to get you one :D

Does somebody know how you can check your ping while NOT using the f1 and f6 key.

1.Open Console
-Type Whatever of these two:
2.A - Stat Net (the equivalent of F6, it will show at the top left corner. Type it again to remove it)
2.B - Ping (Just display your ping in console)
