CTF-VMMoseEisley (Near Completion)
Hi All
Here's a short preview of my upcoming (Star Wars theme) map that's nearing completion. I think it's coming along nicely. The gameplay seems to be really smooth. I still have some work to do, but it's pretty close to being completed. What do you think so far?

It looks great! No SW vehicles anywhere? Also, I didn't have the sound on, but you should have the Cantina band song playing in it. That would be PERFECT!

Yea, the terrain is smooth and I do have Star Wars vehicles but not sure if I'm going to put them in. The problem with odd shaped objects like Star Wars vehicles is that you can never line them up to the grid, and as a result, they could cause map instability. Not sure though. I'll experiment and see how it goes. Forgot about the Cantina band music. I could do that. Right now as you might have heard, I have regular Star Wars music playing in the background. I still have a little to go. Some additions to my map have already been made. Working on a small underground area too. Map is shaping up nicely though.

I think one of the old star wars maps has that song but only at certain spots on the map

The Mos Eisley maps I've got have a land speeder parked near to where the flags is.

I have those maps too. In fact, many of the items you see here, are transplants from the original mapper who did MosEisley. I might put the speeder in this map but hope it won't cause map stability issues. You have to be careful with objects that don't line up to the grid. So what you'll see included in this version is the fighter jets (forget what they call them at the moment), one for each home base. This also will be the first map that I've done for VM, with fully established bot pathing. So you can play it off-line and turn the bots up if you want.
Once the map is completed, I will include another video as a preview and a download link for the map.

Alright, almost done!
Almost done with CTF-VMMoseEisleyVillageBase. I added some more buildings and also a few star fighter jets. Bot-pathing is done. I just have to add some more weapons and pickups, test it some more and it'll be ready for our server. It's not as big as my lockeroom map but not terribly small either. I made this video with the bots turned up pretty high. As you can see, the bots were ruthless! The were kicking my ass. As you might have also noticed, the bots are RX hogs. lol. I can't see to grab one quick enough. Can't wait to release it.
