Photoshop typing problem
I was trying to type ''=(V)=_The_Greek_'' and this is how it showed. Never had this issue before.. It looks like it appears only when I am using special characters like =, ),'',? etc...

Re: Photoshop typing problem
I have never seen that issue before, so I have no idea what's causing it or how to fix it. =-\

Re: Photoshop typing problem
I believe that's in Edit>Preferences>Performance
and then going in "Type" and change the engine type to East Asian.
I could be wrong

Re: Photoshop typing problem
I'm guessing that it's the font that you tried to use. Some font sets have weird individual font letters.
Try using the same font in some other application, Word, Publisher, etc...
Do a complete upper and lower case letter set, and see if the font set isn't designed that way.
You might do better with a different font.

Re: Photoshop typing problem
This worked! Thank you! I thought my computer was messed up but from what I read in Mar's link it's a common bug, especially with pirated copies...lol. It was so annoying because it kept happening with every font I tried using.HaHa wrote:I believe that's in Edit>Preferences>Performance
