hi i want to put a small Unreal Tournament bunny track server together i have a old desktop pc that i am not using its (AMD Athlon II 64bit 2GB of ram and like 500gb hard drive)
1st thing i tryed was putting ubuntu-14.10-desktop-i386 did not work well at all was way to slow so i tryed ubuntu-12.04.5-desktop-amd64 that is working ok i think its a bit slow if u ask me. i am new to linux. i looked all over google not that helpfull for what i want so 1st thing i need is a lightweight linux operating system that can running a Unreal Tournament Dedicated Server.
2st step how do i set Unreal Tournament Dedicated Server up i need doweloads i have look around i got the BTPlusPlusv096 but i can not find things like mapvoteing server rec time... yes and i need map packs. i tryed to look for tutorial no luck haha i need tutorial that say how to do this and why we do it this way

I would help but I'm a windows guy. All our UT severs run on windows server the way ut was meant to be ;)

For 64 bit the only installer working is UT-436-GOTY-Installer-0.4.tar.gz at medor.no-ip.org


You have plenty of power for a windows server.

hi again ty 4 the help yes i think u are right.so i am going to do a windows server because its easyer 4 me but 1st i am doing the ut side of things i am running BTPlusPlusv098 and BTCheckpoints i need help the mapvoteing thing is not working right (MapVoteULv2) all the maps go in 1 list how can i make the maps go in the list's that i want.
i have been looking for mappacks like 100maps in 1 download no luck lol

You have just to unzip it and run the RunServer.bat for start the server and vote.

Other CTF maps that are not BT will not be placed in the list of BT or BT mapvote.
Not need to make lists to separate types.


CTF-BT-Factory-v1.unr is in the BT list you have not to reame it to BT-Factory-v1.unr
