Yes.... I asked both AT&T and Samsung for the unlock code. I am the original owner. I explained it did not work where I live and they are legally required to provide the unlock code so it can be used on a network that reaches out to where I reside. They stated "We do not have an unlock code available for this particular model." Sounds like a bunch of bunk to me.

I could probably force the issue with the FCC or something. It's a really good phone and worth the hassle. Battery still holds a charge for days. :)

I had same issue with ATT until I found that department and they helped me out..You have to talk to the right person. Always ask to speak to a Supervisor because the last time you spoke to them they were NOT helpful and wouldn't do anything to solve your issue. (Found these if you haven't tried yet.)
