New Monsterhunt version on server.

I have added a new monster hunt version with a new redesigned hud and scoreboard.
Also added multiple fixes and enhancements.

Version 12
[FIXED] IsInPackage behavior change. (Made some MH fixes useless)
[CHANGED] Increase HitSound volume back to 16 (Same as version 10)
[ADDED] HitSound Volume is configurable

Version 11
[FIXED] Incorrect detection of nexgen login.
[FIXED] Some MHEnd maps were not shown as disabled.
[FIXED] Some spawners were incorrectly removed due to being placed incorretly but had valid spawnpoints.
[FIXED] Translocator destination module not disappearing when player killed.
[FIXED] Time not in sync if player joined before starting map.
[CHANGED] Hitsounds now only sound for Owner. You no longer hear hitsounds of other players.
[CHANGED] Lowered HitSound Volume from 16 to 10.
[ADDED] Hitsounds are configurable now.
[ADDED] Shakescreen is now configurable.
[ADDED] Some HUD options are now configurable.

[FIXED] Outline of letters was a bit off.
[FIXED] Align new country flags.
[FIXED] Inventory broken on maps like RiseOfTheDead.
[FIXED] Health and Armor incorrect draw style.
[FIXED] Inventory broken when a lot of weapons where picked up at the same time.
[FIXED] Player stuck if respawned on water.
[CHANGED] Dropped inventory of players will now be auto removed after 5 mins.
[CHANGED] Carcasses will have a max health of 2000 and disabled permanent carcasses (example: LavaGiant on InsectHell) 
[CHANGED] Prevent Skaarjs from getting AAA_Stinger weapons.
[ADDED] Now disabled teleporters will show static (no animation).
[ADDED] !listmonsters command. Lists 20 monsters/spawners.

[FIXED] Multuple calls to setPawnDifficult. (Created high HP and high aggressiveness)
[FIXED] Prevent monsters from attacking just by being close. (They can still attack you if you make noise)
[FIXED] Remove relevancy on some objects. (Should not lag as much)
[FIXED] On some maps the weapon of the monster also spawned as a pickup.
[ADDED] Added option to use damagescaling (Now off)
[ADDED] Added some more NetUpdateFrequency tweaks.

EDIT: ehm, images for some reason are being compressed to forum and are very small.

Please report any issues in this thread.
sexy cant wait to take a look. IS it dependent on 469c patch? WE have some lag complaints with 469c and was thinking of going back to 451

edit: ill take a look at the compression settings

game tuns great on y new machine just noticed when the game gets hectic the frame drop is higher on new patch

Yes it is dependent on 469c and XC_Engine.
I use some specific functions of XC_Engine to replace code in runtime. I should have fixed all 3 mayor crashes that we had. (Also an issue that NW3 cybots attacked monsters even if they summoned it, so now monsters have cybots :D)
Also we now use XC_Monsterhunt core instead of MH2Gold.

Was this lag issues reported for MH or was in general?

Also, font should be readable on big resolutions.
@RocketJedi please test on your big 4K screen.
I could only test on my laptop 2k screen resolution.

I can do "Open Location" but not save to favorites. Read-Only is turned off for both my User.ini and UnrealTournament.ini

Even opening User.ini and UT.ini and writing the info in manually - it will not save. Weird - I have never seen this happen before.

Edit : X-Browser was the culprit. All good now.



I saw the changes you made to the server, anyway Mar --- looks good, Dude.

oh i forgot to tell RJ, when you did the patch upgrade for servers, it used to play fine on some MH maps even when there's alot of monsters, but now it crashes the moment it feels like there's any overload/lag.

Though, i need to check now with this new verion to see if it still happens.

If you want to check logs for what maybe causes the crash, check the map (uRh_Purgatorium)

Edit1: ok begin testing,, first thing is that it's not 4 jumps in a row anymore, now it's only 3 ?

Edit2: it used to that monsters that have a ton of HP, have their HP lowered when you kill one of them (my english sux, but let's say we have 5 monsters with 1000 HP , when you kill 1 of them, the other 4 return to their "normal" HP that is 300 ... btw this affects only the maps with monsters that have alot of HP, the other maps are fine because all monsters have their default HP anyway.

Edit3: ok, it seems that the crashing issue is no longer happening, well, atleast from what i've tested until now, will let you know if anything else triggers it.

Yeah, that was my error. Just an ini change will do it maybe later today.

That sounds like old version had that bug. It should never do that.

Thats great to hear. Although saw on the logs it did crash once on MH-[HaVoC][uRh]CrystalMine.
Will try to see how I can fix that. At least is a new error lol.
