All seems fine ! And the jumping definitely works as intended now lol, as you keep up the momentum.

Though, when i wanted to test IG in the dodgechaseballs map, now i see that you spawn with normal weapons setting instead of just IG.

and in the same map, if you fall to water, you get teleported back to top, so there's something wrong with the water interaction there.

Sorry, forgot to change the mapvote configuration. Fixed now. I could not get the fall to water issue? But if you are teleported backk to spawn sounds like Spawn protection maybe?

no you dont tele back to spawn, just the beginning of the fall, it's like you get stuck in a loop, we played it yesterday and other players had the same issue, and no it can't be spawn protection because it's not like something that will kill you like lava, maybe it's just a bug in the map, but it didn't happen when zp was on :think

and another bug, when you try to toss the jet, you dont get the momentum to get boosted away from it, like something makes you stick near the explosion and you die. Nyte confirmed with me

in 1HS-DeathRocket, IG got replaced with a "zoom" IG that has limited ammo, and has laggy shots, and the 0 damage piston dosen't boost you anymore.

Actually, thats the correct weapon on that map. ZP replaced incorrectly that weapon. There where others weapons too on similar maps that were affected by zp replacement.

I could added it to be replaced if weapon is bad though.

Yo Mar. There is an issue that i'm currently facing (Not quite sure if I'm the only one or there is someone else facing the same issue) that forces the RX to slide way too much while having my internet connection setting on LAN and also having a netspeed of 20K. Tried to readjust the internet connection with netspeed with different values back and forth but it doesn't seem to fix it.

I have to say that last night, 9/13/24, was a bad gaming night, at least for me. There was a ton of what seemed to be video lag. I do not have a meek and mild rig by any means. It's an i9 running at 5 GHz with an nVidia 8 GB video card. I also have gigabit bandwidth. It's not a network issue on my end. My video was so screwed up last night. When I tried to do quick turns? Forget it - I just crashed into walls. I attribute this to NewNet. I had none of these issues before NewNet. I might add that while on the sniper server, everything is perfectly fine. No issues whatsoever. Mar, I would never call out your work, because you do amazing things. Everything you do is very much appreciated. So that's not it. It's not you - It's something inherent with NewNet that's causing the issues that I'm experiencing. I know that because I had none of these issues on the RX server, prior to the implementation of NewNet. I'll try again today and see if it's better and report back. 👍

Yes there are some issues, but only if people report them back I can fix them.

Just tried it Mar. No good unfortunately. It's actually worse. If I try to turn quickly in a fairly tight area, for example after touching a base flag, it immediately drops the RX, and I'm left standing there. Nothing blows up, but I'm just left standing there.

Kev can you please tell which UT patch are you on. And what renderer do you use?
EDIT: Also what OS you are using.
