They don't have any ideas left, so they go and make a new form for a bunch of old pokemon, and ill admit it was cool at first, but then they over killed it after the kanto starters had been announced to have them. On the upside they didn't make too many new pokemon in these games, it focused more on the older pokemon and the mega evolutions, but still not too my liking. They just need to remake ruby and sapphire (i would prolly get those) and b done with all of it. Just too much disappointment for me to get those games. Helps that i don't got money atm for the game and system :D
I don't care for the new Pokemon either. Hell, my party is Charizard/Blastoise/Venasuar/Gengar/Lucario/ and Tyrantrum. (only new guy I'm using). I am however impressed by all the crap they implemented and the online experience. Not to mention the graphics/animations looks like Pokemon stadium and the new Mega-Evolutions are a neat idea and you can actually customize your characters look and other little things that I don't want to go on about. Pretty much made it "simple" too - as for IV/EV/leveling. Wonder Trade can also be fun (you trade a random pokemon for a random with someone in the world) I think overall it's a fun game.
